It's been a while
I've been lurking around the Internet for a while, all this time in fact, not updating this blog. I've created other blogs here and there, one on my website which I'm considering ditching, and now I've decided to return to blogspot. A lot's happened in my life in between the last post and this one.
Me and Tom moved into our very own apartment, which we bought back in May 2009. We're loving life here, it being the first time that we've lived anywhere other than our childhood homes. It's not easy, I won't lie, it comes with a ton of responsibility, and all that disposable income I complained about in an earlier post now goes on bills. I wouldn't give it up for the world!
Secondly, we're expecting our first child, a daughter we're calling Katie in exactly 16 days. I'm the size of a house, and waddling around with difficulty. I'm on maternity leave now, so I'm pretty much relying on things to do at home to keep me occupied, especially now that the snow is moving in.
All that extra time on my hands means that I've had the chance to really sort through all of my jewellery making supplies, even going so far as to total up the value. Dear god. I didn't realise how much I've spent over the years between now and 2004 when I started making jewellery. Over £400. That's just my stash. That's not even counting the stuff I've used up. I should really go all Futuregirl and do an entire year without buying any jewellery stuff. I really don't think I could do it. I honestly don't know how she did it with her sewing stuff.
